Funerals
In honouring the life of someone special it is imperative to ensure its authenticity, truth and integrity. This can be an overwhelming challenge, at a seemingly impossible time for you and I understand.
You can trust and rely on me to respect your wishes at all times and create a meaningful and fitting tribute to your loved one with the upmost care, compassion and respect.
I will weave the story of your loved one with anecdotes and memories that may raise a smile or cause a tear to fall. It will be a celebration of their life and personality from birth to passing and will be a memorable journey to cherish.
Remembering and honouring a life with the essence of their individuality can be a reassuring and comforting part of the grieving process.
“Unable are the loved to die for love is immortality” Emily Dickinson
An initial meeting in person face to face where possible or by Zoom. This will include the chief mourner/s and additional family members if required. Here I will incorporate any desires or plans that the deceased has already made. I will then support you in planning and preparing a ceremony uplifting and inspiring to friends and family alike. At this meeting I will also create a detailed outline of the person.
I will support you in choosing music to include - perhaps a special song or hymn. A reflective piece, a reading, a poem or maybe a prayer. It may be non-religious or religious or a mixture. However you wish to pay your last respects, I will ensure that it will be a beautiful homage that the person you have loved would be proud of.
Liaison with your Funeral Director before and during the ceremony to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.
Unlimited communication by email or phone before finalisation to ensure that the service is “just right” for your loved one.
Creating a bespoke ceremony script and unique Eulogy.
Attendance at and delivery of the ceremony.
Guidance and support on the day to individuals who are doing readings etc and assistance if needed.

Celebration of life
A celebration of life ceremony is usually held after a traditional funeral service. It aims to celebrate the life of a loved one in a positive way, focusing on the good times and memories made.
Families that hold a celebration of life might choose a direct cremation for their loved one beforehand. Instead of focusing on grieving and the sadness of saying goodbye, they then use the celebration of life as a unique send off.
A celebration of life brings happiness. It's about highlighting the joy they brought to others during the time they lived.
Fee from £250 dependent on duration. See Ts & Cs.
Interment and ash scattering
I can provide a simple ash interment or scattering ceremony or incorporate it into a memorial or celebration of life ceremony.
